4 Basic Operation
Internal Reference Mass Correction
For those sources without a reference sprayer (APCI), there are two options: (1)

Use the UIRM-hardware kit (p/n G1969-67400.) (2) For other sources that do not
have a second sprayer, connect a tee into the LC tubing just before the sprayer
and admit a reference mass solution into the tee using a syringe pump or other
pumping device.
