Turning off the instrument
11 Press the power switch located in the lower left front corner of the instrument.
12 Unplug the main power cable behind the service panel.
When the LC/MS instrument is plugged into a power source, even if the power

switch is off, dangerous voltages can exist:
• In the wiring between the LC/MS instrument power cord and the AC power
supply.
• In the AC power supply
• In the wiring from the AC power supply to the power switch.
