2.3.1 Intake Control System

The aim of the intake control system is to operate your compressor in the most economical way
possible. The intake system stays off during the start of your compressor, so prevents unnecessary
loading and provides an impact-free start.
It ensures that the compressor motor rotates using very small power by closing the intake when
required pressure values are reached; instead of frequent stop and start operations, compressor is
prevented from intake air only and thus energy saving is ensured. According to the pressure in your
operating line; electronic control module controls the intake regulator. Intake regulator thus switches
air intake of compressor on and off.
When the compressor is stopped, the pressure left inside the oil tank moves in the reverse
direction and tries to rotate the airend in the reverse direction. Intake regulator closes the intake at this
moment by acting as a check valve and prevents both the reverse rotation of airend and the return of the
oil.
