PROBLEM
Compressor runs noisier than

CAUSE
Mechanical connections are loose.
There is a problem in motor bearings.
There is a mechanical problem in the
airend.
Oil level is low.
Ambient temperature is high.
There is a ventilation problem in the
compressor room.
Compressor radiator cores are
dirty/clogged.
Air filter is dirty/clogged.
There is a mechanical problem in the
airend.
SOLUTION
Check that all mechanical connections are
correctly compressed. (Compress of the
motor, airend, coupling and fan connections
is very important regarding safety.)
Run the compressor for a short time while
bonnets are open and listen to the motor's
sound. If you hear noise from the bearings
inform service.
An easily distinguished loud sound is heard
during operation. Inform the service.
Check the oil level and fill up if low.
Check ambient temperature.
In a room, where a intake window smaller
than compressor intake area is opened, hot
air
outlet
of
compressor
discharged out of room healthily. Radiator
might be exposed to direct sunlight or strong
winds might be blowing against the radiator
air
exit.
Check
and
take
precautions.
Check and clean.
Check and replace.
This
may
observed
by
operating noise of the compressor. Inform
the service.
