5 MAINTENANCE

5.1 General

Read the user manual before maintenance. Keep in mind that the maintenance performed by

authorized personnel will prolong the life of your compressor.
Before maintenance, make sure that the electricity to your compressor is completely cut off and the

compressed air is discharged. Please contact HERTZ KOMPRESSOREN customer service for your
compressor's maintenance.

5.1.1 Warranty and Liability

Please make sure that this manual is read by the responsible people (technician, maintenance
personnel and all operators) prior to the installation and operation of the compressor.
Due to the complex structure of your compressor, you may face situations that can cause the
warranty of your machine to become invalid as well as accidents and injuries that may be caused because
of use by unauthorized people.
Your compressor's warranty shall become invalid in case of the following conditions:
Any modification made on the compressor or the control panel without HERTZ KOMPRESSOREN's

information,
Using or performing maintenance by people other than authorized personnel,
▪
Using any spare part and oil without HERTZ KOMPRESSOREN authorization,
▪
Inappropriate installation of safety and protection devices,
▪
Using compressor outside the use and safety instructions,
▪
The initial operation being performed by authorized service personnel without checking.

5.1.2 Type Approval and Original Spare Parts

All parts of HERTZ Impetus 90-315 KW Series compressors are approved by "European
Community Conformity Statement" and meet the related standard conditions and type approvals.
Our company is not responsible for the accidents and damages that might occur due to using
spare part and oil that are not approved by HERTZ KOMPRESSOREN.
Because of unoriginal spare part use, compressor's warranty shall become invalid. For your
safety and health, please use only HERTZ approved spare parts.
