1.7 Environmental Awareness and Disassembly

Take care about environmental cleaning and observe related laws to preserve the environment. Keep
the waste materials listed below away from nature. Ensure they are disposed of appropriately.
Used waste oil, grease and all extremely dirty materials

Cleaning materials

Oil puddles forming as a result of condensing oil vapour.

There are both water and oil in the condensate system of the oil-injected compressors. It is prohibited
to dispose of waste oil in the sewage in accordance with the environmental regulations which vary
depending on the countries. For this reason, drain lines are connected to a device which separates oil
from the water. Decomposed oil is given to the enterprises which deal with disposal. During operation
and maintenance of the compressor, all lubricators available in the compressor and the contamination
caused by the consumables are disposed of according to environmental regulation.
You should pay regard to the following matters while using lubricat materials:
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Do not breathe oil vapour.
•
Do not eat or drink anything while holding such materials.
•
It is prohibited to smoke near flames or open flames.
•
When the lifetime of the machine expires, please follow the steps below:
Stop the machine.

Check all the safety precautions that are mentioned in the previous sections to guarantee safe

Separate harmful substances from safe components (for example, discharge the oil from the

components which contain oil).
Dispose of the substances that you have separated in accordance with local legislation.
