PROBLEM
Pressure does not drop
although the compressor is
switched to idle.
Oil loses its characteristics in
a short period of time,
separator is blocked quickly.
Contactor contacts wear out
fast (Sticks frequently).

CAUSE
Minimum pressure valve is faulty.
Intake regulator is faulty.
Recommended oil or original
separator is not used.
Ambient humidity is too high.
There are fine dust, gas, etc. that
disrupts oil quality.
Ambient temperature is constantly
high.
Low voltage.
Star-Delta time is too short.
Original contact set is not used.
SOLUTION
Minimum pressure valve is leaking the air in its
system. Minimum pressure valve kit should be
changed by authorized service.
Intake regulator cannot close properly. Inform
the service.
Use recommended oil or original separator.
Take precautions towards lowering humidity.
Compressor rooms in sandblasting, casting,
chemical and paint/finishing facilities must be
installed away from these factors. You should
not use the machines and vehicles discharging
exhaust gas such as forklift and generator near
the compressor.
In the compressors running near boiler room,
generator room or in the rooms with inadequate
ventilation, the operating
negatively affects the separator life.
If the Mains Voltage is %5 below the Voltage the
compressor is set or less than this, the problem
is caused by the network or the installed power
of your facility.
If the star-delta time is set to shorter than
normal, motor goes into load before it can get to
full rpm and contactor contacts are subjected to
a much higher current than normal. Thus,
contacts might stick and your motor can fry.
Star-delta time is 4-8 seconds (depending on
compressor type), do not set for a shorter
duration. Change your worn contact sets with
original ones.
Non-original contact sets have very low
electrical strength. Contact service for original
spare parts.
