OPERATION

4.1

Before starting

NEVER connect or disconnect any cables while the power is ON. NEVER turn the primary power
OFF (turn the MAIN POWER "OFF") while the STP pump is in rotation. DO NOT release the inlet
port flange or outlet port flange into the atmosphere while the STP pump is rotating.
4.1.1

Confirmation before starting

After completing the installation of the STP pump, STP control unit, and STC-U, carry out the
following checks before starting:
1. Ensure the STP pump, STP control unit, and STC-U are installed correctly (refer to Section 3).
2. Ensure the correct supply voltage is applied.
3. Ensure all cables are securely connected and locked.
4. TMS setting of the STP control unit is set to "External" or "Advanced". (Refer to "STP control unit
Instruction Manual [C]")
4.1.2

Confirmation of communication parameters of STP control unit

The communication with the STP control unit connected to the STP pump is required to operate the
STC-U normally.
Set the communication parameters for the serial port COM2 of the STP pump to the values shown in

Table 4.

setting of communication parameter.
