3.8.1. Piping parameter setting method
Description
●
Sets parameters for piping and measurement fluids.
Be sure to set the following parameters before mounting the flowmeter to a pipe.
●
Set the accurate pipe outer diameter and wall thickness dimensions. Otherwise, performance can be impaired.
●
If the exact parameters are not set, there will be large measurement errors.
●
Wave receipt errors may also occur.

: 0.10 to 9.99 [mm] (factory default: FSZ 08: 2.00, FSZ 15: 2.50, FSZ 25: 3.00 [mm])
: Water (factory default), seawater, fluid sound velocity
Fluid sound velocity: (Sound velocity: 1000 to 2000 [m/s])
: R-L, L-R
R-L: Flow direction from right to left from the front of the flowmeter
L-R: Flow direction from left to right from the front of the flowmeter

Press and hold the ○ key to go to Display 2.
Press the ▽ key twice and select "SET PIPE".
Press the ○ key to go to Display 3.
Pipe outer diameter: 5.00 to 99.99 [mm]
Press the △▽ keys to set the values.
Press the ○ key to go to Display 4.
Pipe material: Carbon steel, stainless steel, copper,
*For PP or PVDF, select "PVC".
Press the △▽ keys to set the items.
Press the ○ key to go to Display 5.
Pipe thickness: 0.10 to 9.99 [mm]
Press the △▽ keys to set the values.
Press the ○ key to go to Display 6.
Measurement fluids: Water,
Press the △▽ keys to set the items.
Select water or seawater and press the ○ key to go to Display 8.
