Chapter 15
S8: Torque is not generated
!
Estimated cause (s) ▶
Inadequate parameters are
used and acceleration torque
is not sufficient.
The inverter is used for
lowering.
The load is too heavy.
S9: Parameters to be set are not displayed
!
Estimated cause (s) ▶
Display restriction has been
set.
The display is fixed.
S10: Keypad cannot be operated or parameters cannot be set
!
Estimated cause (s) ▶
The display is fixed.
The inverter is running.
Soft-Lock is activated.
The setting range of the
parameter, etc. has changed
due to the change of the
inverter mode or load type
setting.
Exemplar measures to be taken
Set the torque boost or switch to sensorless vector control
and adjust parameters.
If torque is insufficient in regenerative operation, perform
the following adjustment.
- Increase the deceleration time.
- Set "AVR function selection [A081]
- Use a braking resistor or regenerative braking unit.
It may be necessary to review the capacity of both the
motor and inverter.
Exemplar measures to be taken
The display restriction function may be activated. Review
"Display restriction selection [b037]".
If [b037] cannot be changed, the password function may
be working. If that case, cancel the password.
When the "Display lock [DISP]" input terminal is ON, keypad
operation cannot be accepted. If that case, turn off the
[DISP] terminal.
Exemplar measures to be taken
When the "Display lock [DISP]" input terminal is ON, keypad
operation cannot be accepted. If that case, turn off the
[DISP] terminal.
Some parameters cannot be changed during running. If it
cannot be changed, stop the inverter once.
Disable Soft-Lock function.
By changing the "Load type selection [b049]" and "Inverter
mode selection [b171]", the setting range of some
parameters are changed and some parameters are hidden.
The current mode setting can be checked on the "Inverter
mode monitor [d060]". If the mode is not intended, change
the mode.
