A
perform a test run by connecting only the motor without load according to the following
procedure.

DO
Mandatory Setting for Motor Drive and Test Run
 Be sure to thoroughly read "Chapter 1 Safety Instructions/Risks" before starting
operation.
 For a test run with a motor only, it is recommended to use V/f control for the
control method.
 Do not run with an extremely smaller capacity motor than the inverter capacity.
In addition, when performing a test run with a motor with a several frames
smaller capacity against the inverter, set the control method to V/f control, and
set the basic motor settings such as motor capacity and electronic thermal
level according to the motor to be used. If the setting is incorrect, a current
larger than the motor rated current may flow, resulting in motor burnout.
 STOP/RESET key on the keypad can be set enable/disable. Prepare an
emergency stop/emergency shut-off switch, etc., separately in case of
emergency.
