Copying
Copying Using Clone Copy Mode
With Clone Copy, small documents, such as memos or snapshots, are tiled and printed on a single page
as shown in the illustration.
1. Position the document to be copied facedown on the document glass. For details, see
Copying
on page 76.
2. On the printer control panel, press the Copy button.
3. Press the Down Arrow button to go to Special Copy Mode and then press the OK button.
4. Arrow down to Clone Copy and press OK.
5. When the control panel menu displays the message "How To Repeat Copy," press OK.
6. Press the desired Start button (Start/Color for color, Start/B&W for monochrome).
7. The control panel prompts you to enter the length of the document being copied. Use the keypad
buttons to enter the length of the document in millimeters (mm) and then press OK.
Note:
The Clone Copy mode uses millimeters for image measurements even if inches is the unit
selected for the printer in general.
8. The control panel prompts you to enter the width of the document being copied. Use the keypad
buttons to enter the document width in millimeters (mm) and then press OK.
Note:
To change the document size, press the Back/Menu button to delete the current size and
then use the keypad to specify the desired size.
After the document has been scanned, printing automatically begins.
