2) When neither the numeric data input function nor the character
string function is set
• The device write set to the input key (write trigger key) is
executed in accordance with the execution priority.
In this case, if the same device write function is set several
times, data is written to devices in batch function by function.

Switch restrictions
(1)
Do not set the [Fl] to [F3] keys to be used for the switch function.
When monitoring, use the [Fl], [F2], and [F3] keys as special keys with
the system to do the following:
[Fl]: This key is used to start the system menu operation shown in
Section 10.
[F2]: Reserved for a function to be provided in the future.
[F3]: This key is used as a snap shot key to make hard copy from
a monitor screen.
Set these in the Set key (Set special
key) window.
(See Section 5.12 and the Operating
Manual.)

In addition, it is necessary to set the [Fl] to [F3] keys in the following
window to be used as (a) data input keys by the user, or (b) keys for the
system.

If several keys are pressed simultaneously
If several keys used for a switch function are pressed simultaneously,
the system of the G-controller executes switch processing of all pressed
keys except (3) mentioned below .

If a key to be used for a device writing function is set for several functions:
When setting the switch function and device write functions (see Section
5.7), set the switch function as follows:
(a) When setting the numeric data input function and switch function
Do not set the switch function on the same screen.
Even if the switch function is set, switching will not be executed
during monitoring.
Therefore, set another monitor screen for switching.
<Example>
When displaying a monitor screen on which the character-string
input function and switch function are set, if the key for switching is
pressed, that will be treated as a key for inputting a character string.
