7.2
Precautions When Creating Canvas Screens, Part Drawings, and Report Canvas
Screens
This section gives the precautions to take when creating canvas screens, part
drawings, and report canvas screens.
POINT
I
There are certain rules which must be followed when using the GEDE
to create canvas screens for the G-controller module. If these rules are
not followed, (a) the monitor screen will not be displayed as designated,
or (b) an error will occur during conversion.
Therefore, always follow the rules given in this section when creating
canvas screens and part drawings.
7.2.1
Allowable drawing range on the screen
Always create canvas screens and part drawings in the coordinate range of
(0,19) to (639, 419).

Monitor canvas screens
Drawing data created within the above range is displayed on the monitor
screen in the coordinate range of (0, 0) to (639, 399).
Drawing data created outside the above range will not be displayed on
the monitor screen.
