Formatting operating procedure
(a) Select items.
Set the items mentioned in (b) to (I) below by using the [tJ and [!] keys.
(b) Select a memory card to be formatted (Item: Memory card)
Designate the location of the memory card to be formatted by using

(c) Designate the card memory size (Item: Card memory size)
Designate the memory size of a memory card to be formatted by
using the

If an incorrect memory size is specified, the following occurs:
If the designated size is smaller than the actual size, only the
designated area is formatted and can be used.
If the designated size is larger than the actual size, a format error
occurs. In this case, designate the correct size and reformat.

The size of a memory card is determined by the following equation:
