Memory Card Battery Replacement
4.4.1
When should the battery be replaced?

Low battery power indication
The AD57G confirms that battery power to a memory card (inserted into
memory card interfaces 1 or 2) is running low.
When the AD57G detects low power, the battery error detected signals
(X13) and/or (X14) go ON.
X13 : ON when battery power to the memory card inserted into memory
card interface 1 is below the required level.
X14 : ON when battery power to the memory card inserted into memory
card interface 2 is below the required level.

When should a battery be replaced?
Create a sequence program to detect a battery error.
The memory detected contents can be retained about 168 hours after
turning the battery error detected signal goes ON.
When a battery error is detected, replace the battery as soon as pos-
sible.

Battery lifetime
The memory card must always be battery-backed.
Mitsubishi recommends that the battery should be replaced at the inter-
vals given below.
