Troubleshooting on LED indication and input/output signals

Symptom
The RUN LED does not turn ON.
'Module READY' (X0) does not turn ON,
or it takes time to turn ON.
The 'SD memory card status' (X1) does
not turn ON, or it takes time to turn ON.

Check point
Is the module in preparation?
Is 'Module READY' (X0) OFF?
Has a module major error (error code: 2450H) occurred
in a CPU module?
Has an error occurred in a high speed data logger
module?
Is "Online(Asynchronous Mode)" selected for the mode
setting of a high speed data logger module the
firmware version of which is '05' or earlier?
Does the system configuration satisfy both of the
following conditions?
• The module is used with a recorder module
(RD81RC96) or MES interface module
(RD81MES96N) in the system.
• "Online (Asynchronous Mode)" is selected for the
mode setting.
Is there any error in the access target CPU setting?
Is the module in preparation?
Is there any unnecessary access target CPU setting?
Is there any abnormality in the connection route
between the high speed data logger module and
access target CPU?
Is the number of files in the inserted SD memory card
large?
Is 'File access status' (X2) ON?
Is the number of files in the inserted SD memory card
large?
Corrective action
• Wait for the module to start.
• Check if a supported SD memory card is used. If doing
so, please contact your local Mitsubishi Electric sales
office or representative.

• By the error code, identify the error and take corrective
actions. (Page 261 Error Code List)
• Change the mode setting to "Online". (Page 238
Operation settings)
• Use a high speed data logger module the firmware
version of which is '06' or later.
• Change the mode setting to "Online". (Page 238
Operation settings)
• Correct "Access target CPU setting".
• Delete the unnecessary access target CPU setting.
(Depending on the number of items set in access
target CPU settings, it may take several minutes until
'Module READY' (X0) turns ON.)
• Check the communication route between the high
speed data logger module and the access target CPU.
• Delete unnecessary files from the SD memory card.
(If the number of files in the SD memory card is large,
it takes longer to turn ON 'Module READY' (X0).)
• Clear the file access stop.
• Delete unnecessary files from the SD memory card.
(If the number of files in the SD memory card is large,
it takes longer time for the 'SD memory card status'
(X1) to turn ON.)
