The center meter allows you fine tuning since the meter
shows the signal deviation from the center frequency.
The S-meter shows the squelch threshold point when the
[SQUELCH] control is rotated clockwise.
The S-meter shows the relative RF attenuation level when
the [RF GAIN) control is rotated counterclockwise.
The S-meter may not operate when the [AGC] switches are
set to the OFF" position.
