5.1 Connection to Modem

1. Switch on the device.
2. Check that everything is good, your control panel is switched
on and other elements of your installation haven't been dis‐
turbed.
AEGIS S doesn't automatically start the treatment
and dosing of chemical product when you switch
on. Only the user can initiate the treatment after
ensuring that the control unit is properly pro‐
grammed according to his needs.
AEGIS S is fully configurable. When you switch on,
the predefined measured parameters are dis‐
played and the regulation processes are inactive.
AEGIS S is delivered with standard programming.
The user should modify this programming is it
doesn't correspond with his needs. To modify the
programming of your controller, please refer to the
following chapter.
Install the GSM modem socket in the space provided. Position the
antenna in a cable gland and connect it to the electronic card using
the cable supplied. Position the SIM card in the intended location.

Cell phone contract must be M2M (machine to
machine) with the minimum of 5MB/month.
Sim card PIN must be disabled.
