CAUTION!
Thickness of the control panel
The control panel must be sufficiently thick to
ensure that it does not bend once it has been
fitted. Steel panels must be at least 2 mm thick,
with plastic correspondingly thicker.
Only in this way can the IP 54 degree of protection
be attained.
When fitted, the housing extends approx. 45 mm out of the front of
the control panel. A drilling template is enclosed.
1.
Use the drilling template to establish the exact position of the
housing on the control panel and secure it.
2.
Mark the holes for the fixing bolts using a centre punch and
the drilling holes for the cut-out using the drilling template.
3.
Drill four fixing holes using a 5 mm Ø drill bit.
CAUTION!
Take care not to cut yourself on the sharp edges.
4.
Either punch out the cut-out or drill four inner holes using a 5
mm Ø drill bit and then use a jigsaw to remove the cut-out.
5.
De-burr the edges.
6.
Loosen the four housing screws.
7.
Lift the front part off and disconnect the ribbon cable from the
P-module.
8.
Remove the front part.
9.
Now break out the threaded holes of the lower row that you
need for your cabling, referring to the wiring diagram.
