Replacing the Fan

See the figure on page 10 for the location of the fan and fan housing.
Turn off the system and unplug the power cord.

Remove the cover side panel (see page 3 for instructions), observing

the static electricity precautions on page 2.
Disconnect the fan power cable from the power supply.
3.
Place your thumbs underneath the edge of the fan housing near the

expansion slots and press forward and up on the edge until the housing
edge disengages from the processor bracket.
Disengage the other side of the housing from the processor bracket
5.
and lift the fan and housing out of the system.
