If you have speakers, connect the speakers to the audio-out connector

If you have a modem with answering machine functionality, connect

the modem input cable to the sound card's telephone answering device
(TAD) input connector.
If you have a joystick, connect it to the joystick/MIDI port on the back

of the sound card.
If you have added the sound card as an option or upgraded your sound

card, you must install the driver for it. See the sound card
documentation for the installation instructions.
Try playing an audio CD to test the sound card's functions. If the

sound card does not function correctly, see "Expansion Card
Problems" on page 55 and "CD-ROM Problems" on page 55.
