System Problems

The system will not start up

The CMOS battery has

installed incorrectly.

Video Problems

The system is running but there is no display
Probable Cause
The monitor is not
turned on.
The monitor's cable is
not connected.
The connector or cable
is damaged.
Solution
Check the power cable and make certain it is
connected to an AC power source.
Make certain the voltage selection switch
reflects the correct power source for your
area.
Check the cable connecting the power supply
to the system board.
Solution
Replace the CMOS battery.
Make certain the battery is installed with the
positive (+) side up.
Solution
Make certain the monitor is plugged in and
turned on. If the monitor is turned on, the
power LED should be lit.
Make certain the monitor's cable is
connected to the video port on the back of
the system.
Check the connector and cable for bent or
damaged pins.
