Solution
Check the cable and connectors for bent pins
or broken wires.
Try another video card.
From the Control Panel window (
Settings

Display, click the Settings tab,
the settings. The correct display type should
be selected, along with a supported
resolution. Check your monitor and video
card documentation for details.
Solution
Adjust the monitor controls until the text
becomes clear. (See your monitor
documentation for more information.)
Check the connector and cable for bent or
damaged pins.
Disconnect the monitor power cable and
connect it directly to the power source.
Move the monitor away from sources of
electrical interference, such as televisions,
unshielded speakers, microwaves,
fluorescent lights, and metal beams or
shelves.
Turn off the computer and monitor and leave
them off for at least a half hour and then
restart the system.
