Maintain your system
Manager, recordings might not be transferred from the system controller. If this happens, you can download the recordings that
weren't transferred to a USB storage device.
Note
• Always use this procedure to retrieve recordings before you try any other troubleshooting steps.
• To download recordings to a USB storage device requires access to the highest security level in the body worn system,
permitted using the Super admin passphrase.
To download recordings:
1. Go to
2. Open the affected system controller.
3. Click Download recordings.
4. Insert a USB storage device with exFAT filesystem, into the affected system controller.
5. Enter your Super admin passphrase.
6. Enter an encryption passphrase for the recordings.
7. Click Download.
Note
We recommend that you use 7-Zip, which supports AES-256 encrypted archives, to extract the downloaded recordings. Your
default zip application might not support archives from the body worn system.

Adjust date and time

All body worn cameras in the body worn system get the same date and time as the system. By default, the date and time is
synchronized with an NTP server provided by DHCP.
Important
• We recommend that you synchronize the system's date and time with an NTP server, since it ensures an accurate system time.
• The time and time zone of your body worn system must always match the time and time zone of the content destination.
• If the time set in the body worn system is incorrect, time difference could prevent the GPS from providing location data in
the recording.
• A correct system time is critical when using recordings as evidence material.
To change the date and time settings:
1. Open AXIS Body Worn Manager on page 9

2. Open the camera you're looking for.
3. The camera's docking location is shown together with its current state. For example, Docked at System controller
1 (serial number).
