Control Panel

JF1 contains header pins for the front control panel connections. All JF1 wires have been
bundled into a single cable to simplify this connection. Make sure the red wire plugs into pin
1 as marked on the motherboard. The other end connects to the control panel PCB board.
Power Button
The Power Button connection is located on pins 1 and 2 of JF1. Momentarily contacting both
pins will power on/off the system. This button can also be configured to function as a suspend
button with a setting in the UEFI BIOS. To turn off the power when the system is in suspend
mode, press the button for 4 seconds or longer.
Reset Button
The Reset Button connection is located on pins 3 and 4. Attach it to a hardware reset switch
on the computer case.
Power Fail LED
The Power Fail LED connection is located on pins 5 and 6.
Overheat (OH)/Fan Fail
Connect an LED cable to pins 7 and 8 to use the Overheat/Fan Fail LED connections. The
LED on pin 8 provides warnings of overheat or fan failure.
