NIC (LAN2) LED
Power Fail LED
Feature
Description
The main power switch applies or removes primary power from the power supplies to the
Power Button
server but maintains standby power.
BMC Reset
This button can also be used to reset the BMC. See
Indicates power is being supplied to the system power supply units. This LED is

illuminated when the system is operating normally.
Drive Activity LED
Indicates activity on the storage drives when flashing.
NIC (LAN1) LED
Indicates network activity on LAN1 when flashing.
NIC (LAN2) LED
Indicates network activity on LAN2/3/4/5 when flashing.
Power Fail LED
Indicates a power supply module has failed.
Information LED
Alerts operator to several states, as noted in the table below.
Color, Status
Red, solid
Red, blinking at 1 Hz
Red, blinking at 0.25 Hz
Red, solid, with Power LED blinking green
Blue and red, blinking at 10 Hz
Blue, solid
Blue, blinking at 1 Hz
Blue, blinking at 2 Hz

Description
An overheat condition has occurred.
Fan failure, check for an inoperative fan.
Power failure, check for a non-operational power supply.
Fault detected
Recovery mode
UID has been activated locally to locate the server in a
rack environment.
UID has been activated using the BMC to locate the
server in a rack environment.
BMC is resetting
BMC is setting factory defaults
BMC/BIOS firmware is updating
