Detecting Wavelength Automatically

Detecting Wavelength Automatically
When the source you are using is equipped with a feature, that allows
transmission of the wavelength value, such as Auto-wavelength and
Auto-switching modes, the power is automatically set to that wavelength.
Note: When you receive such a signal, you cannot manually change the power
meter wavelength. The power meter behavior is totally determined by the
source.
To receive the source's wavelength value automatically:
1. Connect the source to your power meter.
2. Turn on the source.
3. Activate the Auto-wavelength or Auto-switching mode.
OR
Activate the equivalent feature.
Your power meter automatically matches the source wavelength.
