Setting the Light Source
The light source configuration allows you to set the parameters such as the
output port and the availability of a wavelength in auto-switching mode.
To set the light source parameters:
1. Press
and select Configuration.
2. Select the output port depending
if you use a singlemode or a
multimode source.
3. Select the wavelength you want to
configure.
4. Use the up/down arrows to select
Loopback Reference and press
5. Connect a reference jumper between the selected output port and the
power meter port, and then press Start.
The reference will then be displayed in Reference power (dBm).
6. If you want the wavelength to be available in the auto-switching list,
select Yes in the list.
