Measuring Power or Loss
Setting Power Correction Factor
Setting Power Correction Factor
You may apply a correction factor (CF) to measured power to compensate
for inaccuracies or drifts. You should change the CF after performing an
offset nulling.
Where power is expressed in Watt.
For each favorite wavelength, the CF is set to 1.00 at the factory, but
allowed values range between 0.85 and 1.15.
To set a correction factor for one or more wavelengths:
1. Press
and then Configuration.
2. From the Power Meter tab, using
the up/down arrows, select Item,
and press
3. Select the wavelength for which
you want to set a correction factor
and press
Note: When a correction factor has been set for a wavelength, the value is
displayed next to the wavelength in the Item list.
4. Select Correction factor and press
5. Enter the correction factor value and press
