Replacing Batteries

Position the unit so that its front panel rests on a flat surface such as a table.

Lift.

Turn the screws counterclockwise until
the compartment door is loose.

Remove.
Pull on the battery's tab to free it

from its socket.
Slide in the new battery (poles facing down

and pointing towards the back of the
battery socket).

Put back in place.
While applying slight pressure, turn the

screws clockwise until they are tightened.
Charging Batteries
Connect your unit to AC
power with the provided
AC adapter/charger (FTB-2
and FTB-2 Pro) or
power cord (FTB-4 Pro).
