Brief Operating
Hints
This manual is basically divided into two main parts:
A part which describes the local control of the
n
instrument (chapters 2 to 8).
A part which describes the remote control of the
n
instrument (chapters 9 to 11).
The examples in the local control part are shown in such
a way that on the left side of the page the keystrokes
are shown, while the right side gives an explanation of
what
happens. All hardkeys are shown in a box as they
are on the instrument, for example, the FREQ key is
represented by IFres)

but to simplify things they are shown as IShift] and
