the negative slope by setting the voltmeter delay

Record in the appropriate spaces under Negative
Slope Measurement.

7. Algebraically add the voltages recorded in the
Positive Slope Measurement column and enter the
total in the Cy space.
8. Multiply Cy by 45 (which is Cx) and enter the result
in the CxCy space.
9. Multiply each y value by the corresponding x value
and enter in the x times y column. Total these
values and enter in the Cxy space.
10. The equation for determining the best fit straight
line specification for each y-value is:
where al and ao are constants to be calculated from
the data taken previously.
Calculate the values of al and ao to at least five decimal
places.
