The 22110 form factor is recommended because the appropriate standoff comes pre-installed on the motherboard.

Under most circumstances you will not need to remove the air shroud to perform any service on the system. However, if you wish to temporarily remove it, please follow the procedure below.

A failed power supply can be replaced while the system is running. Replacement units can be ordered directly from Supermicro. Note: Full redundancy is based on system configuration and application load.
Chapter 4: Motherboard Connections Chapter 4 Motherboard Connections This section describes the connections on the motherboard and provides pinout definitions. Note that depending on how the system is configured, not all connections are required. The LEDs on the motherboard are also described here. A motherboard layout indicating component locations may be found in Chapter 1.
The JTPM1 header is used to connect a Trusted Platform Module (TPM)/Port 80, which is available from Supermicro (optional). A TPM/Port 80 connector is a security device that supports encryption and authentication in hard drives. It allows the motherboard to deny access if the TPM associated with the hard drive is not installed in the system.

The X13DEI/X13DEI-T has two SATA 3.0 ports (I-SATA0~1) on the motherboard. These SATA ports are supported by the Intel® C741 chipset. I-SATA0/1 are orange connectors that can be used with Supermicro SuperDOMs with power pins built in, and do not require external power cables with Supermicro SATA DOM.
