Dimmer – instrument lighting
To adjust the
brightness, ensure the headlamps or park
lamps are switched on.
• To dim the instrument illumination,
push in to extract the button, then
rotate it clockwise.
• To brighten the instrument illumination,
push in to extract the button, then
rotate it anticlockwise.
• Push in to retract the button.
Note When opening the driver door or
when pressing the
keyless entry transmitter, the instrument
panel lamps will illuminate automatically
and stay illuminated for approximately
30 seconds or until the ignition switch is
turned to the ACC (accessories) position.
Turn signals
The turn signal lever is on the right-hand
side of the steering column. Push the
lever up to signal a left turn and down to
signal a right turn.
In some turns (such as changing lanes),
the steering wheel is not turned far enough
to cancel the turn signal. So, to indicate a
lane change, move the lever part way and
hold it. The lever will return to the neutral
position when you release it.
An arrow on the instrument panel flashes
when the turn signals are in operation.
Note When the turn signal lever is
moved slightly upward or downward and
released, the turn signal lamps will flash
automatically three times.
