LOCKS
DOOR LOCk SNIBS
To lock any door from the inside, pull the
door lock button. To unlock, push the door
lock button.
The driver's door lock button cannot be
pulled when the door is open, this is to
prevent the ignition key from being locked
inside the vehicle by mistake.
WARNING
Before driving, ensure the doors are
closed and locked, especially when
young children are in the vehicle.
Child safety rear door locks
Child safety locks helps prevent the rear
doors being accidentally opened from the
inside by small children in the vehicle.
The locks are provided on the rear edge
of both rear doors. They are accessible
when the door is open.
To activate the child safety locks:
1. Open the rear door you intend to lock.
2. Locate the child safety lock on the
door edge.
3. Use the ignition key to turn the lock
clockwise away from the vertical
position.
Note To open a rear door when the child safety door lock is activated, unlock the door
and open from the outside.
WARNING
For safety, always check that the lock is operating correctly (after setting) by
trying to open the door from inside the vehicle.
To deactivate the child safety door locks:
1. Turn the lock anticlockwise to the vertical position to disengage the child safety lock.
