DRIVING
ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROgRAm (ESP
Monitoring
The Electronic Stability Program (ESP
conjunction with the vehicle's Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and includes the

• The use of tyres that are a different size or construction i.e. mud or snow

• Do not let this special safety feature tempt you into taking risks when driving.
Traffic safety can only be achieved by adopting a responsible driving style.
The vehicle's speed should always be adjusted to suit road and traffic
conditions.
ESP off button

In certain conditions it may be helpful to
disable the ESP
®
off button located on the left hand side
of the digital clock. For example, if the
vehicle is bogged in deep mud or sand, it
may be possible to get more traction from
a slightly spinning wheel.
Pressing the ESP
resume the ESP
®
off indicator will extinguish.
Operation
The ESP function operates automatically
®
in very unstable conditions, it does not
operate under normal driving conditions.
The ESP active lamp flashes while ESP
®
is actively helping the vehicle with road
grip and stability.
If the lamp illuminates constantly, this
indicates there is a malfunction in the
system. Consult your Holden Dealer.
ESP not ready

The ESP not ready indicator illuminates when the ESP
®
to cold conditions, this indicator will extinguish when the vehicle warms up.
