WEEKLY CHECKS
Alignment and balance
Improper wheel alignment can cause the tyres to wear faster and to wear unevenly. It
can also cause the vehicle to pull to the left or right.
Out-of-balance wheels and tyres can cause annoying vibration and uneven tyre wear.
If you suspect either of the above problems exist, have a wheel alignment and balance
check carried out by your Holden Dealer.
Tyre rotation
Front and rear tyres perform different jobs and can wear differently depending on
the types of roads driven, your driving habits, wheel alignment, balance, tyre
pressures, etc.
Check the tread depth regularly. If the front tyres have more wear than the rear tyres,
have both front wheels rotated with the rear wheels so the tyres with the deeper tread
are at the front.
Follow the diagram for the correct rotation
pattern.
If the wheels are rotated it is recommended
to check the balance at the same time.
