Using a flat-bed tow truck
A flat-bed tow truck is the best method of
towing the vehicle to avoid damage.
Using a standard tow truck
If a flat-bed tow truck is not available a
standard tow truck using a towing dolly
to prevent the front or rear wheels from
contacting the road will be suitable.
WARNING
If the vehicle is towed with the front
or rear wheels contacting the road,
the vehicle's drive system could be
severely damaged.

SHIFT LOCk CONTROL SYSTEm

(AUTOmATIC TRANSmISSION)
Your vehicle has a Brake-Transmission
Shift Interlock (BTSI) system. Before
shifting from P (park), the ignition must
be in the ON position and the brake pedal
must be applied.
If the system does not respond to the
above procedure and the shift lever
can not be moved, use the following
procedure:
1. Switch off the ignition (LOCK position)
and remove the key.
2. Apply and hold the brake pedal.
3. Remove the cap from the transmission shift lock slot.
4. Insert and press the ignition key into the transmission shift lock slot.
5. Shift the gear lever to N (neutral).
6. Remove the key from the slot.
7. Start the engine and shift the transmission into the desired position.
8. Reinstall the cap.
9. Refer to your Holden Dealer as soon as possible.
Note
If the shift lever is returned to the P (park) position, the above procedure will need
to be repeated to shift the lever into N (neutral).
The above procedure will need to be carried out if the vehicle has a flat battery and
requires towing.
