HEAD RESTRAINT
Adjusting the height
To adjust the height of the head restraint,
pull up or push down while pressing the
locking button in.
Note The centre of the head restraint
should be at eye level, never at neck
level.
Adjusting the tilt
To tilt the front head restraints,
1. Place it in its upright position by pushing
it forward fully and releasing it.
2. Push the head restraint forward
carefully until it is adjusted to the
desired position.
WARNING
Do not drive the vehicle with the head restraints removed, since it would
increase the risk of a neck injury in the event of an accident.
Do not attempt to adjust the driver's head restraint while the vehicle is in
motion. This could cause a loss of control of the vehicle.
The head restraint safety feature is not intended as a headrest. It is solely
for the reduction of whiplash neck movement in an accident involving
the vehicle.
The centre of the head restraint should be at eye level, never at neck level.
