NAVIgATION SYSTEm
POSSIBLE mAP FILE PROBLEmS
When returning from a road which is newly constructed to a road recorded in a map
file, you may find the floating point swings because the map file may not reflect the
actual road conditions. Continue driving and the system will adjust to the correct
position using navigation signal information.
Guided to a no-through road.
Route re-computed again without changing the proposed route.
Guided to a normal road instead of a tunnel, or vice versa.
If there are only small lanes without normal roads near the destination, the system
will only guide you to a place near to your destination.
Instruct you to make a U-turn.
No indication at a branching road.
Turning instructions do not match the actual road condition.
No indication of direction or voice prompt about an entrance/exit while guiding on
the highway/freeway.
Schematic map may mismatch actual road conditions.
DIFFICULTIES RECEIVINg NAVIgATION SIgNALS
In tunnels.
Between high buildings.
Under bridges.
In trees/forests.
When using an external navigation antenna, we recommend that you place it on the roof
of the vehicle. If there is roof rack on the vehicle, separate the rack and the antenna.
