Select or clear the "Lock" checkbox to determine whether the created snapshot will be locked or unlocked and
enter a short description, then click OK. A locked snapshot cannot be deleted due to auto-archiving.

The process is complete once you close the confirmation window that appears.
Accessing the Snapshots via SMB
From a Windows computer, you can access snapshots using the "Restore previous versions" option.

From Settings, click File Sharing.
