ProMax X-ray unit with Dimax3
ProMax utilizes the new SCARA (Selectively Compliant
Articulated Robot Arm) technology for arm movements.
The SCARA3 robot arm unit with three joints offers two
patient entry positions: Entry 1 and Entry 2. You can use
either of them according to your individual needs and
preferences.
Selecting Go Entry 1 will move the C-arm to the back,
away from the patient positioning area. This full view
position allows you to monitor and adjust the patient's
position freely from all directions.
Go Entry 1 function can also be disabled for example in
cases where there is no space for the C-arm to move.
See section "Behavioural preferences" on page 54.
Selecting Go Entry 2 will position the C-arm around the
temple supports. This is the traditional closed patient
entry position.
To change the patient size from adult to child, touch the
Patient size field on the main display. To change the
setting back to adult, touch the Patient size field again.
If the patient is a child or a very small adult select the child
setting, otherwise select Adult. When you select the child
setting the width and height of the exposed area will be
slightly reduced.
NOTE
Selecting "Child" automatically changes the
setting of the jaw size to "Narrow".
NOTE
Panoramic exposure program: If the unit is
equipped with a fixed primary collimator, only
width will be changed.
