Chapter 1 Specification

This series of mainboards features an integration of the powerful In-
tel 775-pin CPU (including P4Celeron D) and the North Bridge Intel
915G. The 775- pin CPU is a rapid execution engine providing 800/
533MHz system bus, while North Bridge Intel 915G is a high perfor-
mance integrated chipset providing Dual Channel DDR 400/333 SDRAM
memory interface, DMI (Direct Media interface), VGA interface as well
as PCI Express bus up to x16.
Integrated with North Bridge Intel 915G, South Bridge Intel ICH6 of
B5A-FG supports the LPC I/O, upstream DMI, PCI interface (including
IEEE 1394a and Gigabit LAN), IDE interface, Serial ATA interface, USB
2.0 interface, AC'-Link interface and the interrupt control, while South
Bridge ICH6R of B5A-FGR is integrated with the additional SATA RAID
interface.
