Powering Multiple Units over the LAN

A central power supply can be used to power all the telephones instead of using individual
power supplies for each unit. In this case four wires must be provided to each FlexSet 280/281
equipped with PEX and PEX/APA unit and to every FlexSet 80 (GKT) or CPA - two for audio,
two for external power. In addition, appropriate wiring of an IDF (Intermediate Distribution
Frame) on the customer's premises must be done.
