Wall Mounting/Desk Elevation
When wall mounting the FlexSet 280/281-40B, the plastic connecting pieces (Figure 7-7)
are not necessary.
Instructions for Desk Elevation and Wall Mounting the FlexSet with FlexSet 40B(s) are
essentially the same as for mounting the FlexSet 280/281 without the FlexSet 40B(s)
(see Wall Mount/Desk Elevation on page page 3-1).
Wall Mounting
1.
Attach each Wall Mount to the wall according to the instructions in Wall
Mount/Desk Elevation on page 3-1.
2.
The plastic connecting pieces are not necessary. They can be removed if desired.
3.
Attach the FlexSet 280/281 and FlexSet 40B(s) to the Wall Mounts.
4.
Verify that all connector cables are in place and seated properly.
Desk Mounting
There is only one difference in Desk Mounting a telephone with FlexSet 40B attached.
In addition to desk mounting the FlexSet 280/281, the FlexSet 40B(s) must also be desk
mounted. This is done in exactly the same way as mounting the FlexSet 280/281. Each
FlexSet 40B has its own Desk Mount which is attached to it exactly the same as for the
FlexSet 280/281 Desk Mount. See Elevating the FlexSet on the Desktop on page 3-8.
