Overview

The CPA (Coral Paging Adapter) module is a terminal that facilitates paging over the
company's overhead paging system speakers. The CPA identifies itself in the Coral as a
DKT set, but does not function as a DKT station.
The CPA has two audio output connection options (see Figure 10-2). One is a 600 Ohm audio
link (option 1) while the other is a "Hi-Z" connection (option 2) for a high impedance link to a
paging system. In addition there is a signaling pair (relay contact) for attachment to paging
systems that require this type of audio and control, for both output options.
The CPA bridges internal (digital station) and external (overhead) speakers. This flexibility
allows multiple internal and external zone combinations.
