Database Programming
Consult the Program Interface and Database Reference Manual for instructions on the database
programming required when installing a CPA. The following are the parameters which may be
set:
General System Parameters Applied to all Keysets in the System
System Sizes _______________________________________________ (Route: SIZ)
The system database allocates resources to manage the operation of 8/16/24/SFT, 8/16SFTipx,
8/16SFTsl and 8F8Ssl peripheral cards based on the number of FlexSets and CPAs that these
cards are able to support. An 8 port card supports up to 8 keysets, a 16 port card supports up to
16 keysets and a 24SFT card supports up to 24 keysets.
Verify that System Sizes allocates sufficient resources to accommodate the total number of
FlexSets provided by all cards installed in the system. If insufficient resources have been
allocated in Sizes, the entry must be increased or the keysets will not initialize.
KEYSETS_1
Set this parameter to accommodate the appropriate number of FlexSet 120x, CPA,
(and DKT21xx, DST, DKT1xxx, EKT1xx, VDK121).
.
Modification of the System Sizes initializes the entire system database, and requires the re-entry of all
database information after Sizes have been modified.
Possible Group Assignments
Each CPA may be a member of the following groups:
Zoned Voice Page Group
(Route: CALL)
Group Call
