FlexSet with SDT/SKD/SVD Peripheral Cards

FlexSets are designed to work with (8/16/24)SFT, (8/16/24)SFT Office,
(4/8)SA8F Office, (4/8)SA16F Office, (4/8)S8F Office, (4/8)S16F Office, (8/16)SFTipx,
(8/16)SFTsl and 8F8Ssl peripheral cards.
FlexSet telephones will not work with (8/16/24)SDT, (8/16)SDTsl, 8D8Ssl, (8/16)SKD
and 8SVD peripheral cards. However no damage will occur to the telephone(s) or the
cards if they are connected.
If a FlexSet phone is connected to one of the following cards: (8/16/24)SDT,
(8/16)SDTsl, 8D8Ssl, (8/16)SKD and 8SVD; the following message will appear on the
display and remain there for 10 seconds:
SFT CARD IS REQUIRED !!!
SFT CARD IS REQUIRED !!!
This message is then overwritten by the following:
STAND ALONE MODE
PHASE-2 COMPLETED
In order to help identify this situation, the mistakenly connected card will send a pulse
to FlexSet phones once every 20 - 30 seconds. This causes the display to turn on briefly,
then turn off again. This is a definite sign that the telephone is connected to an
incorrect card. Either the phone or the card must be replaced.
Replace the (8/16/24)SDT, (8/16)SDTsl, 8D8Ssl, (8/16)SKD or 8SVD card
with an (8/16/24)SFT, (8/16)SFTsl or 8F8Ssl card.
