Quick Guide (FDC Scenario)
If both fire prevention and air stopping are needed, use fire dampers. After the
unit shuts down, the air dampers are closed to isolate the unit from the air ducts.
Procedure
Step 1 Install a fire damper at the indoor air discharge vent of the unit based on the site
requirements.
Step 2 Install a fire damper at the outdoor air exhaust vent of the unit based on the site
requirements.
Step 3 Connect cables to the fire dampers. Route the cables through the signal cable
holes at the bottom of the unit and connect them to the signal terminals.
